One of Australia’s leading Video store operators with over 100 rental stores around Australia with stock levels exceeding ½ Million movies.

Video 2000 is a family business owned and operated by the Brent Holdings Group. We started our first video library in 1982 in Darwin trading as Video World Pty Ltd and expanded locally and into North Queensland as Sun Video P/L and Brisbane as Golden Video P/L and Canberra as Astro Video P/L.

Shortly afterwards we consolidated all stores under the Trading Name Video 2000.

Our Goal is to provide our customers with the best possible service and entertainment options at affordable prices. We have a strong commitment to ensure our customers can Rent and Buy quality products.

We regularly clean all Rental movies in our stores to ensure our customers get the picture quality they pay for.

Video 2000 were the first libraries in Australia to employ dedicated DVD cleaning and inspection machines and had an active role in their development in conjunction with U.S Manufacturer RTI.

All Movies and Games Hired from our stores include the Movie cover and artwork so the rest of the household know what they are getting.

We operate offices in Darwin, Townsville and Canberra and our head office is located in Brisbane. All movies sold from our website are processed by our wholly owned Online subsidiary V2Direct Pty Ltd.
