Background
When you register at V2Direct we ask you for personal information. We use this information to process your orders and to communicate with you about the status of your orders. We may on occasion use your email address to send you newsletters as well as messages about V2Direct special offers, promotional announcements and consumer surveys. Occasionally we send our customers special offers and promotional information via postal mail using the postal address provided.

Collection and Use of Information
When you sign up at V2Direct we ask for your email address and a password. We also ask you for your full name, physical address, telephone number and credit card number so we can ship your order. We use your telephone number only if there is an order-related issue, not for marketing purposes. You must certify that you are at least 18 years old (persons under 18 cannot use V2Direct's services). Our server stores this information so you only need to enter it once. If you want to update your address or change credit cards, go to the member home page and make the appropriate changes under the "Account Settings" section. You must be signed in to access this.
Viewing and Updating Your Information on V2Direct
Cookies
As you browse the V2Direct site "cookies" are placed on your computer's hard drive. Cookies allow your web browser and our server to communicate more effectively by acting as a form of identification and for recording any information you may submit, such as what rating you gave a particular movie. If your browser is set to not accept cookies you will not be able to use the V2Direct site or service.
Disclosure
Except as described in this section we will not sell, rent or disclose your personally identifying information to third parties without notifying you of our intent to share the information and giving you an opportunity to prevent your information from being shared. We occasionally use other companies, agents or contractors to perform services necessary to our operations. For example, we have partnered with other companies to process credit card transactions, analyze customers' interaction with our site and process consumer surveys. Of course we must provide Australia Post with your address for delivery purposes. In no instance is the information we share with these third parties personally identifiable. V2Direct reserves the right to disclose information when required by law. We also provide analysis of our users in the aggregate to prospective partners, advertisers and other third parties. We do this so that we and our advertisers can understand you better and so we can keep bringing you first-rate services. We may also disclose on an anonymous basis, literal statements made by our customers. At no time however will we disclose personal information about specific users.
