We understand that the security of payment details entered online is a concern for most people. As an online business our livelihood depends on it. So we take it extremely seriously. Firstly, we are using the latest 128-bit SSL certificates from VeriSign to encrypt your details before they are sent down the wire. No one can read those details except us. Secondly, our computers here are protected by state-of-the-art hardware and software firewalls. Lastly, your details are encrypted again before being stored here at V2Direct. So even in the worst possible imagined scenario of a robbery at our business site your details would still be completely safe, only the directors of the company have the keys to unlock that information.
"Web-based transactions are in many cases, safer than those that take place over the phone or even with bricks-and-mortar retailers."
- National Office for the Information Economy
Remember, if you’d still prefer not to enter your credit details online our customer service team will be happy to take your details via phone or fax.
When will funds be debited each month?
Each month your credit card will be debited on the same day of the month that you joined and if that's not possible it will be debited on the next working day of the month.
How long does it take to get my movies?
The table below gives the standard postage times, in one direction. Providing DVDs in you rental queue are available we typically receive and/or send out your movies within 24 hrs, Mon - Fri. Customers in metropolitan areas of Brisbane could return a DVD on Monday and expect the next available movie in their queue to arrive on Wednesday. If you lived in say, a metropolitan area of Sydney, and returned a DVD on Monday you could expect the next available DVD in your queue to arrive on Thursday. With 3 DVDs allowed out at a time you’ll always have something new to watch!
X Rated Movies are sent from our Darwin distribution centre and may take approximately 3 days to arrive due to Australia Post's delivery times from Darwin.
How do you send the DVD’s to me?
DVD’s are sent via Australia post every weekday in protective packaging.
How do I return the DVD’s?
The cardboard envelope that the DVD arrived in is a reply paid mailer. Simply pop the DVD (in its protective sleeve) into the cardboard envelope, insert the tabs to seal it and post it back to us (please do not seal the envelope with tape or glue). It is very important that you return the DVD in its protective sleeve inside the envelope as it protects the disc from damage.
X Rated movies are shipped in a special BLUE reply paid mailer and this must be used to return them back to our Darwin distribution centre.
Failure to do so may delay us in sending you your next movie.
Are there any due dates or fees?
There are NO due dates, late fees or extra hire charges. Keep the DVD’s for as long as you like.

We don’t have every DVD ever made… yet! So if you’d like to request a DVD please email us at dvdrequest@V2Direct.com.au with the title of the DVD and we’ll do our best.

Using V2 Direct
How do I find a specific DVD?
Simply type the title name in the search box located above the "Genre" selections available on most pages and click on the "GO" button. If you can't find the movie try entering the title without the word "The" or "A" at the start of the title. You can also type the actors name if you know it and see a list of all the movies that the actor is in and find the title that way.
How do I change the order of DVDs displayed?
When selecting a Genre or Sub Genre search you will be presented with the most popular 5 movies available to rent Now! and a list of the balance of the genre below. You can quickly jump to a specific part of the list by clicking on the letters at the top of the list. You can even sort the entire list by Popularity or Censorship rating if you want to.
How do I select my DVD’s to rent?
Browse the site and click on any “rent” button to add a movie to your rental queue. We recommend you have a selection of 15+ movies in your queue at all times to ensure you always have movies at home to watch. A really great feature of V2 Direct is that you know instantly if the movie is available to rent. We achieve this by the colour of the "Rent" button. Note: You queue should contain no more than 100 movies. When your queue drops below 15 movies an e-mail will be automatically sent to you reminding you to add more movies. When adding or moving movies to your rental queue the information is stored locally on your computer. You must use the member log out button to save your rental selections and queue order otherwise you may lose your queue information.
What order will I receive my DVDs in?
Due to fluctuations in supply and demand we cannot guarantee that you will receive your DVDs in the order they appear in your queue. When we send a DVD out to you we send the first available DVD listed in your queue, starting of course with position #1 and working our way down.
How do I change the order of the DVDs in my rental queue?
You can drag and drop movies in your rental queue to place them in any order you like. "Drag and drop" refers to pointing to an item with the mouse, holding down the left mouse button while "dragging" the item to its new location and then "dropping" the item by releasing the left mouse button. To remove a movie from your rental queue simply click on the "X" on the right hand side of the title.
Note: When adding or moving movies to your rental queue the information is stored locally on your computer. You must use the member log out button to save your rental selections and queue order otherwise you may lose your queue information.
Can I see a list of all the DVDs I’ve rented?
Yes. Go to the member home page and click on “Rental History”.
Can I prevent adult movies from being rented and listed on the site?

The DVD I rented is not playable. What should I do?
There are two possible reasons for this. One is some discs are incompatible with early model DVD players. The other reason may be your disc is dirty or damaged. Please see our DVD handling and care section for instructions on how to clean the DVD. If cleaning the DVD does not work, please indicate the disc is unplayable in the "Problems with Your DVDs?" section of the member home page and return it.

Keep looking! Remember, we don't charge any late fees, so it's no drama if you can't find it right this minute. I returned a DVD, but you haven't credited me for doing so. What should I do?
Please allow at least 5 working days for the disc to reach us and its return to be acknowledged. If sufficient time has passed and it still hasn't, please contact customer service. It may be that the DVD was lost in the post which does happen on very rare occasions. We understand that this can happen from time to time through no fault of the customer. However, Australia Post is *very* reliable and if an abnormal number of discs go missing you may be charged the recommended retail price to replace them, pending further investigation.
